A rainy-day lunch: crusty Italian bread, good salumi and a drizzle of olive oil. Nothing extra.

Every Sunday
Weekly Sunday dinners from the Sansalone kitchen. Luciano cooks, Alex films, and the whole family sits down to eat.
Our family table
For over forty years Luciano has put in a full day on the job site, come home, showered, and cooked dinner for his family. He is particular about his food, so particular that he would rather cook after a long day than have it any other way.
His father and grandfather were wonderful cooks too. Along with the mason's trade, Luciano inherited the kitchen, and he has passed both on to his son Alex. For years the family has made its own sopressata, its own wine and its own ricotta.
Since 2020 we have been filming it. These are our Sunday dinners.
